We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist for a space project! Our client, specializing in terrestrial astronomical observatories, helps operate twelve telescopes on five continents.
A few words about the products:
1. ABOT - Astronomical RoBOT - software for observing the night sky, is used for automatic data acquisition by sensors (sensors) located in e.g. Australia, South Africa, the Andes, Spain and Germany.
2. Astrometry24.NET - optical data processing software to know the dimensions (location and brightness) of objects closer to or farther from the Earth.
3. WebPlan - The goal of this project is to equip sensor owners, astronomers and SST operators with sophisticated planning tools that take into account sensor availability, object visibility and environmental statistics and look for the best opportunities.
You will fit in perfectly if:
-You have knowledge in writing Powershell scripts
-You have 5+ years of experience working with Windows desktop and server systems
-You have 3+ years of experience working with Docker
-Your Polish and English languages are on C1/native level
What will you do?
-Support of users, service and devices, solving current problems.
-Support of network infrastructure, power distribution units, UPS, control computers, servers.
-User support, VPN help desk, access levels, solving complex problems.
- Occasional visits to the Office in Bydgoszcz (Poland) are required!
