We’re looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to keep information safe and eliminate risks across our products and internal systems. This individual will collaborate with the foreign Lead Security Engineer and engineering team to ensure our client's services are well vetted and maintained. The Sr. Security Engineer should be technically savvy, a strong multitasker and be one step ahead to ensure consistent coverage and eliminate any room for vulnerabilities.
Our Engineer should be located in the European Union!
You will handle:
- Performs risk analysis at client's locations to identify internal and external threats.
- Provides security systems technology support with regard to the installation and maintenance of security technologies and tools.
- Provides systems support with respect to building or improving systems security
- Maintains corporate security procedures and develops and provides regular security training.
- Plans, coordinates, and conducts investigations of alleged and suspected computer crimes.
- Fosters security vendor relationships to ensure effective and efficient supplier performance results.
- Works independently to ensure goals set by leadership are reached.
- Triages and remediates security reports
- Develop security-related training and education for management and employees.
- Maintains all required business control elements of the security program and participates in the audit process for assigned areas of responsibility.
Skills & Requirements:
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience in corporate security
- Expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience with risk assessment & analysis, emergency preparedness, and investigations/incident management.
- Communication skills in a customer facing environment
- Experience with Digitrust and/or Crowdstrike is a big plus
- Experience with Okta and Duo is a plus
- CISSP certification is a plus
- Readiness to travel if needed
Engineers are working in normal hours for time zones for 5-6 hours. Remaining hours (2-3h) they should plan accordingly within the overlap time slot (up to 22:00 CEST to avoid night shift); standups for this team at 10:30 am PST every weekday/except Wednesday (slack standup)
Salary range:
21 000 - 25 000 pln net/B2B
